Red Snapper are currently touring Europe to support their recent album "Key" and are about to release the next single, which comes with two very special remixes.
The TOOB remix comes close on the heels of their "Chromaphon" EP and remixes recently released on Process Recordings. Their remix of "Jack" is a deep, hypnotic, grinding floor filler. Red Snapper approached TOOB for a different angle on this beautiful track. Jakeone used to play keyboard and electronics on stage with the band and has been a fan since the early days. They have used the vocal over their trademark warm and bouncing production.
Red Snapper were honoured when Billy Nasty and Keith Tenniswood (a.k.a. Radioactive Man) offered to remix album track "Chimee" under their Radionasty moniker. Keith has worked with and followed the band from the early days and engineered some of their best remixes. Billy was one of the first DJs to help the band with their first EP on Flaw Recordings when he worked at Zoom Records in Camden and has been a fan since. This collaboration once again proves that when there is mutual respect between musicians and producers the lines between musical categories becomes blurred and groundbreaking quality prevails.
