About

It's Filterwolf's take on the "true techno sound" - inspired by innovators like Isolee, Carl Craig and an attempt to move as far as possible from the cliches of minimal. As Filterwolf says, "novelty and cutting-edge sounds are the quintessential elements of techno".

And who is Filterwolf? His first release, South Disco, was on dub KULT's Living Records, with raves from Dirt Crew, Coldcut and Zombie Nation. It had already been played in Ibiza megaclub Privilege before its release, and Filterwolf has built from there to a new live show, a residency at Munich's Volksgarten, and an artist album in tow for 2010. There's an epic element to the sound, but a fun sense of melody as well - check it out.
